Hydroelectric projects

STERN has been involved since our founding, in a large number of of hydroelectric projects; designing and manufacturing large cylinders with their associated hydraulic power units, drives and control panels.

As these cylinders are in contact with water and in order to ensure longevity, the piston and piston rods must be protected against corrosion. Different materials and surface treatments are available to adpat to the the specific conditions in these kind of projects.
